We were pleased to be your first guests in the beautiful new North Star. The weather has been lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed Glacier National Park. Sarah loved relaxing in the hot tub. This lodge is built by the Amish community business, Meadowlark Log Homes, who built our beautiful log cabins in 2003, which have been received so well. This log lodge is in a wooded setting, surrounded by a grove of soaring pine trees. The grounds are extensively landscaped with a lush lawn and plantings. The North Star lodge has its own Hot Tub and horseshoe pit for your enjoyment. There is a large redwood deck with picnic tables and propane grill for outdoor dining on the main level. The lower level has a patio with additional propane grill and outdoor seating. The lodge is just a short walk through the woods to the Flowermoon Lodge Complex or log cabins, for those with family or friends staying in other lodgings at the ranch. The lodge is a over 2600 square feet with five regular bedrooms and an open sleeping loft, sleeping up to eighteen. There are three and a half full bathrooms, two kitchens with complete tableware, serving & cooking dishes, full size stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, dishwasher on main level, washer/dryer, and two living areas. The main level has a cathedral ceiling in tongue & groove pine. There are log beds throughout and pine custom made furniture. The decor is upscale and non-commercial, with local art and many lodge touches throughout The lower level sleeps up to eight, with two bedrooms, one with two queens & one with a queen. There is a full futon in the living area. Complete kitchen, one bath, living area with tv/dvd and all the expected comforts of home round out the amenities of the North Star Lower Level. The North star lower level is a completely self contained lodging with its own entrance. The main level and the loft area have three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. One bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The bedroom on the main level is a queen bed. One bedroom upstairs has a queen bed & the other bedroom has two queens. There is also a sleeping loft with a double bed. There is also room for two sleeping mats for children, if needed, and all sleeping linens provided. Washer/dryer, tv/dvd, gas log fireplace & beautiful kitchen round out the amenities in the North Star main level. The main level and upper floor of the North Star is a completely self contained lodging with it's own entrance and parking.
