Family reunions are a special event at the ranch and we've had families (several five generational), from Philadelphia to Hawaii, come and Experience our Haymoon Ranch Resort magic. Our twenty acres allows a real sense of spaciousness and roominess to accommodate large groups, but the lodge area provides a focal point for all your get togethers that is both inviting and intimate.

Under moonlight or the sparkling magical light of our long Montana summer days, (created by our northern latitude and mountain air), Haymoon Ranch Resort with its special charm and privacy is where you want to spend your Flathead Valley vacation.

Located near the storybook village of Whitefish, Montana in the western Rockies, we are centrally located to all the wonderful attractions of the Flathead Valley including Glacier National Park and Big Mountain Ski Resort. We accommodate every size group from one to sixty-five + in our various lodgings. All six guest quarters rented together sleep 65 +.

MEETINGS
Our brand new meeting room seats up to 35 for small conferences, business seminars or retreats.

The Flowermoon Lodge has three smaller meeting areas that comfortably each seat up to twelve for breaking into smaller groups. Unwind in the Sauna, Hot Tub & Exercise Room after a busy day.

WEDDINGS
Our spacious grounds with acres of lush lawns and gorgeous gardens lend themselves beautifully to outdoor celebrations such as weddings, receptions and special family events. Many brides have chosen Haymoon Ranch Resort for their most special day. We do have several weddings here each season and enjoy hosting these events.

We do not do one day events at Haymoon Resort. We have a four day minimum for weddings held July through August 15, peak season. There is a three day minimum for weddings before July 1, or after August 15. Some couples choose to have their wedding here at the ranch as well as the rehearsal dinner, bride’s luncheon or whatever other activities they are holding in conjunction with the wedding. Other brides’ get married at a different location but use the resort for lodging and events around the wedding. We welcome weddings with a maximum of 150 guests.

Weddings held here are either destination weddings or weddings where either the bride or groom has a lot of out of town guests to provide lodging for. Some local families also enjoy the idea of all their families being in one spot for the wedding festivities. Many families have made this into a family reunion event also.

We do require that the whole facility be rented for weddings. Obviously, it would not be appropriate for other guests to be on site for the wedding, as it is a private time. Please remember we only provide a wedding venue & lodging, and are not wedding or event planners, but we will share names of other wedding vendors that we can personally recommend. Most of the weddings held at the resort, bring in a large wedding tent.

The Haymoon Resort which is on twenty acres sleeps up to fifty people and rents for $1799+ Montana Bed tax of 7% per night for the 2007 season. There is also a $1,500.00 wedding fee. At reservation, a 30% deposit is required of the wedding and lodging fees. The balance and security deposit must be paid in full thirty days before check-in. There can be some adjustment in the wedding fee for events that are not held at peak season July 1 – August 15.

There is also additional lodging available in the lodge adjacent to the Haymoon Resort. This lodge, the North Star Lodge will sleep up to eighteen additional guests if desired.
